Terms & Conditions

Scope of works

All works shall be carried out in accordance with the written quotation, specification, or agreement provided prior to commencement. Any variations, additions, or amendments requested by the Client must be agreed in writing and may incur additional charges.

 Standard of Workmanship

All works will be completed with reasonable skill and care in accordance with generally accepted building practices within the United Kingdom.

 External Works Guarantee

Due to the nature of external works and their exposure to weather conditions beyond our control, all external works are guaranteed for a period of six (6) months from the date of practical completion.

No warranty or guarantee is provided for external works beyond this period.

Client Instructions and Deviation from Advice

Where the Client instructs us to carry out works in a manner that differs from, or is contrary to, our professional advice or recommendations, such works shall be undertaken strictly at the Client’s own risk.

In such circumstances, we shall not be liable for any defects, damage, or failure arising directly or indirectly from those instructions.

 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

• Defects arising from pre-existing conditions not reasonably apparent at the time of inspection or commencement

• Damage or deterioration caused by weather conditions, ground movement, or other environmental factors beyond our control

• Works or materials supplied or carried out by third parties not engaged by us

• Any loss or damage resulting from Client-directed works as outlined in Clause 4

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability which cannot be excluded under English law.

Maintenance and Aftercare

The Client is responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the works following completion. Failure to adequately maintain the works may invalidate any applicable guarantee.

Completion and Notification of Defects

Practical completion shall be deemed to occur when the works are finished to a reasonable standard. The Client must notify us of any defects within a reasonable period following completion and, in any event, within the applicable guarantee period.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
